Heinz First Step Creamy Oat & Apple Porridge 6+months 240gm

Perfect First Porridge for Your Baby (6+ Months)

If your little one is ready to start solid foods, Heinz First Step Creamy Oat & Apple Porridge is a gentle, thoughtful choice. This 240gm pack is designed specifically for babies aged 6 months and above, making it an ideal first porridge as you introduce them to new tastes and textures. The creamy consistency and mild oat-and-apple flavour combination is mild enough for developing tummies while introducing natural fruit goodness.

Before you order, here's what to check: confirm your baby is showing the usual signs of readiness for solid foods (sitting up with minimal support, showing interest in food, loss of the tongue-thrust reflex). Also check that you have sterilised feeding spoons and bowls ready, and ensure there are no known allergies in your family to oats or apples. Always introduce new foods one at a time and watch for any reactions over a few days.

What Makes This Porridge a Good Gift Choice

New parents are often overwhelmed with feeding decisions, so a trusted, straightforward porridge like this makes a practical, caring gift. Heinz First Step is a brand many parents recognise and feel confident about. The 240gm size is convenient for trying out before committing to larger packs, and it's the kind of everyday essential that parents genuinely appreciate receiving.

• Single-flavour, uncomplicated formula (oat and apple)
• No added salt or sugar (as appropriate for baby porridges)
• Smooth, creamy texture suitable for early weaning
• Convenient 240gm pack – easy to store
• Designed for 6+ months – a milestone many parents want to mark

How to Use and Store

Simply mix the recommended amount with cooled boiled water or breast/formula milk to reach your preferred consistency – thinner at first, gradually thicker as your baby's feeding skills develop. Always follow the pack instructions for quantities. Prepare only what you need for each feed, and store any remaining porridge in an airtight container in the fridge according to guidelines. Never reuse leftover food from your baby's bowl.

A Thoughtful Addition to Your Baby's Journey

Whether you're buying this for your own baby or as a gift for new parents, this porridge represents a calm, nourishing step forward in your child's feeding. The mild apple flavour introduces a gentle sweetness from fruit, while oats provide a smooth base. It's the kind of product that fits naturally into a baby's routine and gives parents one less thing to worry about during those busy early months.
